French macaroons are a traditional Parisian cookie. Which have a crispy out side with chewy center and a creamy filling. Traditionally made with almond flour, but you are able to substitute with any nut flour. You can also add food coloring or extracts to make then taste different. Also it's up to you what kind of flavored buttercream you want to add. So as you can tell its totally customizable to your liking.
Apple pie with streusel topping is one of my favorites. I find my self liking it more and more over the traditional pie crust on top. This is a very simple easy recipe that takes about 20 minutes of prep time and and hour to bake. Depending one how old your apples are or how big you sliced then you might need to bake an additional 20 min. You will know when its done when the streusel is golden and the apple pie has sunk down about half if its original size.
Ingredients:
one pre-made pie crust
8-10 apples
pitch of all spice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
3 T cornstarch
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 C. brown sugar
Streusel topping:
1 stick of butter
1/2 C. flour, oats, and born sugar
1/4 tsp salt
